Obituary for Terry Phelps

Born June 15, 1954, to Butch (Ethel) and Bob (Clarence) Wagner-Means in Mount Pleasant passed on August 2, 2022, at Lansing McClaren Hospital. She married Bill (William) Phelps September 15, 1991.

She worked in a factory in Detroit, Michigan before moving back to Mount Pleasant where she enjoyed working as a housekeeper at Soaring Eagle Casino till, she was no longer able to work. She was always the life of the party you either loved her or just shook your head at the things she did. She loved her family with all her heart especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She loved to go to parties, canoeing, tubing, her slots, bingo, her pond and feeding her birds and squirrels. She always made sure if you came to the house, you never left hungry.

She is survived by her husband Bill Phelps of Shepherd, brother Tom (Lana) Means of Utah, sister-in-laws Karen Means of Shepherd, Marilyn Means of Mt. Pleasant, children Melissa (Ben Steel) Ruhlig of Shepherd, Steven Keehbauch of Mt. Pleasant, William Phelps Jr of Mt. Pleasant, Ginger (Robert) Kowalski of West Branch, Ashley Phelps of Mt. Pleasant. Grand kids Brian (Paige) Ruhlig of Lansing, Hunter, William III, Sebastian, Ciara, Jameson and great grand kids Aiden, Evalynn, and Paisley, many nieces and nephews and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Butch and Bob Wagner-Means, brothers Alvin (Ted)and Robert (Bob) Means, sister Trudy (Means) Campbell, and her nieces Tara and Sarah Means of Utah.
