Obituary for Dwain Richardson
Richardson, Dwain, age 85, of Remus, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, peaceful at home surrounded by his family.
A memorial service will be held on March 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Victory Christian Center, 2445 S. Lincoln Rd., Mt. Pleasant, Mi. 48858. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the service. A luncheon will follow, immediately after, at the church.
Dwain was born September 22, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Lester and Nellie (Maxon) Richardson. Dwain married Evelyn Braford on January 28, 1961, in Remus, MI. Dwain enjoyed farming, taking care of his lawn, wood working, working with his hands and helping others. Dwain always said he was a jack of all trades and master of none.
Dwain is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Richardson; Children, Linda Richardson of Mt. Pleasant, Robin Cushway of Big Rapids; grandchild, Alicia (Luke) Beckwith of Big Rapids; great- grandchild, Elliana Beckwith; sister Patricia (Ronald) Smith, bother, Robert (Roberta) Richardson; Sister-in-law, Beth Richardson; bother-in-laws William Baily, Edwin Renkie. Very special family friends Mike and Karin Richmond and family, Brian and Jodie Fountian and family.
Dwain was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Janet Richardson, Marilyn Baily, Janice Renkie; brother Ronald Richardson; sister-in-law, Arlene Richardson; grandson, Brian Lewis; niece, Teresa (Renkie) Wilson; and by his many wonderful dogs and granddogs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dwain Richardson’s name can be made out to the church or family.
