Barbara Skorna affectionately called “Bobby” by her loved ones. Passed away at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Gratiot on the morning of January 21, 2022 at the age of 59.

Barbara Ann-Pearl Loomis was born on September 29th, 1962 in Carson City. Barbara was the eldest daughter of her beloved parents, Ernest and Barbara (Pleasant) Loomis. She grew up in Mount Pleasant and lived there all the way up until her passing. She was married 31 years. She was a stay at home mom to her two sons who were her pride and joy.

Barbara loved crafting, music, art, and cooking. She gifted many of the things she made to her friends and family. Barbara enjoyed making her mother’s recipes and would happily share them with others. Barbara had a laugh that when you heard it, you couldn’t help but laugh along.

Barbara is survived by her husband Steven Skorna Sr. two sons, Steven Ray Jr (Megan) and Brandon (Ashley) Skorna, sister Jillene Ramirez (Johnny), and niece Jennifer Ramirez

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ernest and Barbara Loomis.
